Our Medical Division consists of a team of healthcare providers working together to support different projects providing medical assistance in Haiti.
Purpose: To provide assistance as an outsource agent to organizations with clinics currently providing immediate relief, and to implement our own long-term medical relief programs in several areas in Haiti.
Goals:
Provide continuous medical care to underserved areas in Haiti through our healthcare network providers.
Organize a network of sponsors to fund volunteer missions
Projects and Developments:
- Verification Services: CESA Medical Division members verify and support current sponsorship opportunities. We research extent of sponsorship and provide volunteers with as much detail as possible under the circumstances. This service enables volunteers to be well informed before making their decision to volunteer with a certain group. - Healthcare Information Portal: CESA Medical Division provides travel health information recommended by the Center of Disease Control (CDC) such as: vaccines, malaria prophylaxis and other medical preventive measures for individuals traveling to Haiti.
- Medical Backpack Program: CESA Medical Division provides last minute volunteers with pre-packaged medical and personal supplies.
