Mission statement:
Founded in January 2009 in Haïti by a group of concerned professionals, AGRIPO’s mission is to contribute to the rebirth and promotion of agricultural initiatives in Haïti, focusing in the Southeast and Artibonite regions.
Goal:
Grassroots efforts to educate and train local farmers in rural areas, on how to cultivate their lands, produce healthy and profitable goods and resell for local and international consumption.
Objectives:
To empower the farming community, by providing the means with which they can learn while enjoying the fruits of their labor; also contributing to the reinforcement of the Gross National Product (GNP).
Services:
Training classes, donation of seeds such as cabbage, grapefruits, plantains etc. fertilizers and farming equipments, acquisition of land, transportation of goods.
Employees/volunteers:
Professional volunteers donate their time and financial resources to implement AGRIPO’s mission.
